 
FSR, the Cedar Bureau and Chemco recently conducted a burn demo for several districts of the Sun Valley, Idaho fire department. Along with the attendance of all of the fire chiefs, there were also various members of the city council who were in the process of deliberating an appeal of the Planning and Zoning's decision to ban wood on one specific home. The following day the council met and after some intense deliberation chose to overrule the PZ's decision to ban wood on the basis that the committee hadn't opened the subject up for public discussion and had not followed the proper procedures in changing a building code. The PZ committee has been sent back to do more research on the various roofing materials available and should be making a formal decision on what to do with the area's they consider "high risk" sometime soon.
